The Effects of Safety Management Systems, Attitude and Commitment on Safety Behaviors and Performance

Safety culture is part of organizational culture, and assessing corporate safety as a means increasing performance gaining acceptance. Based on Cooper’s reciprocal model, this paper studied the effects managerial commitment workers’ personal attitude well organization management system (SMS) towards individual compliance participation, their relationship with performance. Questionnaires were obtained from employees contractors large steel company in 14 functional departments. Modified models verified by structural equation model (SEM). The SMS have behavior.
